Instalimi i VMWare

Kam problem me instalimin e VMWare ne Etch!
Edhe pse VMWare ka kohë që e përdori; që nga hapat e parë (ver 4.xx) dhe thuaja në të gjitha shpërndarjet e Linuxit e kam instaluar, këtu po më paraqiten probleme.
Së pari po paraqes Versionin që përdor:

cat /proc/version
Linux version 2.6.18-3-686 (Debian 2.6.18-7) (waldi@debian.org) (gcc version 4.1.2 20061115 (prerelease) (Debian 4.1.1-20)) #1 SMP Mon Dec 4 16:41:14 UTC 2006

kernel-headers i kam te instaluara
aptitude install kernel-headers-`uname -r`
megjithatë:

Zakonisht unë instaloj VMware Server në Debian dhe nuk kam ndeshur ndonjëherë ndonjë problem serioz.

Një udhëzues mbi instalimin e VMware server (që me pak ndryshime mund të përdoret për Etch) e gjen tek: HowtoForge.

Përsa i takon rastit tënd, duhet të japësh mesazhet e log të iinstalimit ose të gabimeve gjatë nisjes....

Përshëndetje Laurent,

E instalova pa problem.Nuk zgjati as 3-4 minuta.
Problemi më parë ishte, unë dëshiroja ta instaloja VMWare Workstation 5.5.1.Ndoshta duhet ndonjë version ma i ri?
Sa për fillim... le të mbetet edhe kjo.
Lexova diku se kishte dalë edhe Versioni 6.0 më duket i VMWare Workstation?

E instalova VMware Workstation 5.5.3 ne Etch.

Problemi është se gjatë hapjes së një Makine Virtuale, VMWare "ngrinë".I njëjti problem ishte edhe te VMWare Server 1.0.1.
Kam instaluar më duket gjërat e nevojshme:

Rruga më e thjeshtë:

sudo cp /usr/lib/libpng12.so.0 /usr/lib/vmware/lib/libpng12.so.0/

Mbishkruaj file ekzistues tek /usr/lib/vmware/lib/libpng12.so.0/

Tash funksionon edhe ne Etch.
